8 WEEKS

Come and join us on Zoom* from 6pm to 7pm (UK time) every Wednesday from 6 September 2023.  Each week our key speakers will share their specialist knowledge and experience.  Throughout the programme there will be opportunities to apply what you are learning in optional coursework tasks.

At the end of the 8 weeks, you will get an industry accredited certificate. A practical module in the final week will provide guidance and support to help you take any job application process in your stride. There will also be the chance to apply for our Open House Assessment Day.  Those who complete the programme and pass the assessment day join our exclusive talent pool for opportunities across the M&C Saatchi Group in 2024.

*You can join live on Zoom (do use the auto-transcript function if you need to) or catch up later via the Open House site where recorded webinars & presentations will be posted each week.

25 OCT HOW TO GET A JOB (IN ADVERTISING)

This optional and highly practical session covers how to write a CV, work on your portfolio, prepare for an interview and improve presentation skills. This will also provide preparation for the assessment day if you wish to apply for a job at M&C Saatchi Group at the end of the programme.

COURSEWORK

Optional coursework will be set throughout the programme so you can apply the learning.  We will set a Data & Insight Task in Week 2, a Creative Task in Week 4 and a Media/PR Task in Week 6.  You can choose to do as much or as little as you wish. Certification of the programme does not require you to do the tasks but they will help to bring the subject to life. If you are applying for a role with us we encourage you to take part in the coursework tasks as this could help towards your application.

WANT A JOB?

If you are already eligible to work in the UK and wish to apply for an internship, placement or job at M&C Saatchi Group, those who have completed the programme will be invited to an application process on Friday 27 October closing Sunday 5 November.  Successful applicants will be invited to our assessment day* on Wednesday 29 November.  Please keep your diary free just in case 🙂

Those who pass the assessment day achieve a yellow tick – Open House Verification – joining an exclusive talent pool.  This gives you access to suitable opportunities across the M&C Saatchi Group.  Practically speaking, this means you will be fast tracked for any live roles at the time of the assessment day and when future opportunities arise in 2024 the Open House talent pool will be the first place we fish from.

*By assessment day, we mean a day where you will be able to showcase who you are, your natural strengths and skills and meet more of the M&C Saatchi Group team. The most important thing is that it’s as much an opportunity for you to decide if this is the right place for you as it is for us to see if you’ll succeed here. And much like Open House itself, we’re more interested in who you are and what you can bring, than any past experience or academics you may or may not have.
