Frequently Asked Questions

I am registered but can’t find my login details?

You can login at https://openhouse.mcsaatchi.london/ using your username (the email address you used to register with) and your password (that you generated in your registration form).

What is the minimum age for registration?

Participants must be aged 16 or over to register.  There is no upper age limit.

I’ve forgotten the password I generated in my registration form?

You can reset it here https://openhouse.mcsaatchi.london/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

I have missed the deadline to register can I still take part?

We had an overwhelming response to M&C Saatchi Open House with over 1000 participants registered, more than we are able to facilitate on Zoom. Anyone who has missed the deadline can contact us at openhouse@mcsaatchi.com to register their interest for future events.  We may also look into making some of the content available after the programme for educational purposes.

I will be at work at 6pm on a Wednesday, can I still take part?

Yes, the sessions will be recorded and the content will be made available to all participants who have registered for M&C Saatchi Open House.

I am not eligible to work in the UK, can I still take part?

Yes, you can still take part in the 7-week training programme, but we may not be able to consider you for a potential role in our London office.

I am in a different time zone, can I still take part?

Yes, we understand the timings of the programme will not suit everyone around the globe so will make the course content available to participants who cannot zoom in live.

I am not based in the UK, can I still take part?

Yes, just select Other International or Europe in the drop-down menu for location.

Will there be coursework?

Yes, we will set a project and optional homework tasks every two weeks throughout the programme that you can have a go at to apply the learning.  If you would like to be considered for a role with us we will ask you to submit one of tasks as part of your application.

I will not be able to participate in the whole programme, will I still be considered for a future role at M&C Saatchi?

Ideally, we would like participants to engage in the full 7-week programme, either live or by catching up with the content each week, to be considered for a future role with us.

I am not interested in a future role at M&C Saatchi but would still like to take part in the training for my own progression?

That’s fine, the course content is open to all, just select the ‘I would simply like to watch the webinars each week, either live or on catch up, and get a certificate at the end’ option.

Can I invite a friend along to one of the sessions?

Unfortunately, the programme content will only be available to those who have registered for M&C Saatchi Open House but by all means invite a friend to watch with you now that covid restrictions have lifted.

How do I link to the webinars?

A link will go out each week via mailchimp or you can login to the Open House portal to link in live on the night or catch up with the content after.

What roles will be available at the end of the programme?

We’ll be looking for talent to fill open roles across the M&C Saatchi Group as well as an entry-level cohort and internships in 2023.  In the last two years of Open House we have offered work experience opportunities, internships, apprenticeships and full time roles across Account Handling, Strategy, Data, Creative, Production, Design, PR, New Business and Marketing.

Do I have to know what role I am interested in applying for?

No, you can select ‘don’t know’ or be completely specific in your application but hopefully the 7 week programme will give you an idea of where your interest and skillset lies

What do I need to do to apply for the programme?

Register and you’re in – that’s it.  There are no minimum requirements to participate.

How much of my spare time will this take up?

We appreciate that you have lives, studies, kids, jobs, etc. so we have built the programme to be as accessible as possible.  The course runs weekly for 7 weeks and comprises a 1 hour zoom session from 6-7pm every Wednesday.  There is little preparation needed, but participants are encouraged to ask questions in the sessions.

Except THE BRIEF.  This requires additional time to consider your approach and how you will apply your learning.  It is optional so if your schedule doesn’t allow for anything extra, that’s completely understandable and won’t stop you from finishing the course and getting a certificate.  However, if you are applying for a role with us we encourage you to take part in the coursework tasks as this will form part of your application.
